Hey Kev - Well, I must say, I'm jealous. I would LOVE to quit this work thing and ride around the US, Route 66 being the first place I'd go.

Let us know when you are in the area, and you have a place to stay, and a shop with a lift if you need to do any maintenance on the bike. And of course, a tour guide if you want to take some local rides.

Is it possible you can connect a sidecar to your bike? I cannot do the beer thing but I can certainly guide you along the 'wine' trail.

    Hey Parlor Heads!

The thought of seeing and knowing all your innermost thoughts and activities on this ride is making me crazy!

I hope your body is in shape (like me the Strend master) and up for the carbs your will be downloading to your abdominal area. If not, you may need to upgrade your tires for the additional girth and weight they will be carrying. : )

Another thought: get a little Macbook laptop and we can do video conferencing while on your trip. The best thing is it is free!

    Parlor on,

    Hi Guys,

Sounds like a fun summer. If you decide to add Chicago to the travel list, I'll give you a place to rest but I'm not worth a damn at motorcycle repair. However, I will have a keg waiting for you. You just have to tell me what flavor you like best.

Good for you, two! Your 'misadventures' will be awe-inspiring. If you are at all interested in something different while in the Stamford, CT area...you might want to have a session with our shaman friend, Eve Kerwin. You can read more about her from her book listed on Amazon.  If you are interested, let me know and I shall forward you her contact information. Enjoy the ride and I hope you keep a journal of your fave beers, domestic and imported.

Just remember one thing......If the beer is cloudy......and there is no lemon peel.....it probably is not a form of "Hefe-weizen." Try running it through again....maybe "Cold Filtering!"

I like the concept! It is always good for the "respectable" members of our community to have clear goals and objectives as they grow older. Remember- "Ride safe! Drink hard." Your butts will thank you
