ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO - "...We are not alone..."
But all that doesn't really matter, does it? What matters is how we got here, right? The journey is the reward! Well, to begin the day, we left Winslow, Arizona and cruised over 400 miles along some of the best roads ever! No cars, perfect weather and no construction delays. FANTASTIC! Around noon we were kicked out of Pie Town, New Mexico because we refused to use a fork to eat the cherry pie - lets just say they are stuck up Bi_tches in Pie Town.
Next we stopped at the "Very Large Array" (V.L.A.) where they run the SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) project. It's a multi-billion dollar government operation and they wanted $4 to take a tour. We thought about it and figured that with all the taxes we've paid over the years, our total tax contribution to the V.L.A. has been about $11.72 - so we asked for the tour free and $7.72 in change. Well, we didn't get the tour or the money, but we did get escorted off the property by Federal Marshals. (FYI: They have absolutely NO sense of humor at the V.L.A!) It probably doesn't matter because we bet the Array isn't that "Large" anyway!
We finally ended up in Roswell, and the rest is history. But it's today that mattes (Saturday). LIVE IN THE MOMENT! We're heading south to Texas and across the panhandle (don't you just love saying "panhandle?"). Who knows where we'll end up tonight....
Kevin - getting kicked out of Pie Town, NM Stacy usually is a "uniter," not a "divider."
The V.L.A. as we're being chased off the property! ERIC! - The best bartender in Rosewell!

After not hearing from you two for over 24 hours, we called Ms Budweiser for a search and rescue. FYI the CIA was in NM called by VLA and NASA to check out S & K looking like SETI's on this RAAFB trip! Soooooo, We're happy you're alive and well. Bring the tour to Maryland Baby! Your Doc needs to check both of you.
Hugs and Kisses,
Debra and Ray
