IT'S NOT ABOUT THE EFFORT - IT'S ABOUT USING THE RIGHT TOOLS!
It's Monday and Stacy is still out of town. I figured that I'd better get started on the list she left so that I don't have to do it all tomorrow in the hour before she gets home. Anyway, after I carefully reviewed the work, I realized that it was mostly housework. Now I have long been an advocate of using the right tool for the job, and I think most people don't do that, especially when cleaning up their house (or trailer like where we live). For example, first task on the list - dust & vacuum the floors.
Now most people would spend hours with a feather duster or soft rag, and a vacuum cleaner. I got the whole job done in about 10 minutes using a gas powered leaf blower. It made total sense to me to just open the windows and blow all the dust and dirt out. Sure it knocked down a couple of photographs, but we didn't really lke the people in the pictures anyway. Next job - clean the toilets. Okay, there's no way I'm putting on rubber gloves and scrubbing away with Tidy Bowl. Not when I have a 800PSI Power Washer! Let me tell ya, just a few quick blasts and the bowl was spotless. Of course it did take some of the paint off of the seat, but who looks at where you put you rear anyway?
I was sooooo ahead of the game I decided to do the laundry even though it wasn't even on the list. Sort of a surprise for Stacy. Again - right tool for the job, right? Why spend time using prewash and degerent and bleach and all those chemicals. Gasoline is cheaper and it gets out even the toughest stains. Drying was a snap too - I just used my propane cutting torch. Although, here's a helpful hint to all of you that try this - make sure the gasoline is well rinsed out of the clothes before drying them with a torch. I learned that the hard way, but what the heck, it was sort of exciting watching that dress go up in flames. Anyway, with all the housework done, I headed over to the Indian Casino for Monday Night Football. You can only guess what'll be posted here tomorrow...

Why dust & vacuum when a leaf blower is quicker? Man did the Power Washer ever leave the bowl clean!

No need to soak or prewash - just use gasoline! A blowtorch really dries clothes fast!

YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!! I now know what the next book you write should be titled-Housework Done by the Handy Guy. You might even get a low rated cable show called Kevin Knows Best. The possibilities are endless. Just don't try to kill bees with a can of furniture polish and a lighter. Someone tried that and really lost his double wide, truck, boat and trailer. And the bees lived!

This man has absolutely lost his mind - insane is the word for it! He has to be put in a mental facility. He needs a complete exam. His oars are definetly not in the water. A very scary individual, but we still love him.
guy and cary.
