ITS BAD LUCK TO FALL OUT OF A THIRTEEN STORY WINDOW ON A FRIDAY!
FRIDAY? Did someone say friday? Oh, yeah - TGIF! And that goes for all of our friends that have jobs too! We like fridays for several reasons. First and foremost - we usually get our county check in the mail on friday so we have plenty of dollars to spread around after cashing it at the local 7-11 (hey, don't laugh - Rashid only charges us 5% and the stupid check cashing store wanted 8% after we bounced a few checks last month). Anyway, just like slot machine, the county came through, we got our check, Rashid turned it into cash and we went on a "Fun Hunt!"
First stop - one of our favorite Friday hangouts and one of our favorite bartenders - SEAN! We like the place because they have $2 martinis, and even though we don't drink 'em, we can buy 'em for people and make new friends by the fistful! Sean kept the cold beers coming our way, the martinis going to others and the rest of the night just became a blurrrrrr. It was a good blur until Kevin's bookie showed up (because he knows we get our check on fridays) and wanted his money from last weekend's football bets. We paid him off (grudgingly), bought him a martini and Kevin lived to walk another day without broken knees.
After the payoff we were running a bit low on cash, so the $2 dollar martini buying spree came to an abrupt end. Sean opened a tab for us and at least kept the beer flowing our way, and then we found someone's VISA card just laying on a table. After changing bars (so the people sitting at that table didn't know we had their card) we were able to keep right on having fun. Actually, it was pretty cool because whoever's card it was had written their PIN on the back so we took a cash advance of $200 at an ATM. When they find out we bet they'll be pissed at the $3 charge for using a non-bank ATM! Anyway, with our cash reserves replenished, our gambling debts paid current and our senses dulled from alcohol, we called it a successful night and staggered home to dive into some Nacho Doritos and jalapeno bean dip. Tomorrow is Saturday so we'll be out terrorizing tourists again - can you wait to see what happens next...

Hmmmmm- No other options ever occured to us! Look - When your bookie asks - YOU PAY!

Mother/Daughter? Ok, A first for us, but cool! We got lost in the crowd because of the VISA card!

We are booking a flight to Palm Springs today. We should be in town by later this afternoon. We can party for a couple of days. We cannot wait to get there! Just kidding but have a great weekend reverend.
Love,
guy and cary.
