WHEN CHEESE GETS IT'S PICTURE TAKEN - WHAT DOES IT SAY?

It's Wednesday, Humpday, BUT WAIT!  What's going on here?  First, we were awake at the crack of dawn (easily by 10am) and second, we actually got to McDonalds before they stopped serving the breakfast menu for the day!  Are we losing our grip on reality?  No, there was a reason... we had to go to court on the "pimping & pandering" (we still don't know what "pandering" is) charges in New Orleans from a few months ago.  Well, we didn't actually "go" to court, we just phoned in to our night school public defender's cellphone, but we still had to be awake and well fed (breakfast is the most important meal of the day!).

It was sorta hard to hear everything going on over the cellphone since he had it hidden in his briefcase, but the outcome couldn't have been better.  All the charges were dropped and our records were expunged (whatever that means - but if it involves bubblebath and a sponge, count us in!).  It seems it was a case of mistaken identity - helped along no doubt by the fact that we had given the arresting officer someone else's ID we found laying on a bar in Baton Rouge.  Anyway, we're no longer fugitives in Louisiana so we can can go back now and party it up in the French Quarter!

In the meantime, we'll be celebrating out here in Palm Springs!  Afterall, our good names have been cleared ( in Louisiana anyway) and for the first time in years we don't have any pending felony charges (at least no state charges).   Since it's Humpday, we went home to start the celebration and ....  (NO FAIR PEEKING!)  Anyway, by the time we were done .......ing, it was so late we ordered out for pizza and watched Law & Order reruns until 2am.  But listen up!  Tomorrow is Friday Eve and we'll be out on the town for sure...

Kevin on the phone with the Louisiana Court                                                                     This fake ID did the trick!

The judge was a fair man - he understood our "issues."                           They don't call it "Humpday" for nothing!
