Yes sir boys & girls - IT'S FRIDAY! - and not a moment too soon.   We barely made it through the week, but now it's TGIF!  Let's see, Stacy is back home after her trip to the protest rally in up Sac-ra-tomato, the babysitters kept Kevin from needing bail money on a weekday, and the charges against us in Louisiana for "pimping and pandering" were dropped.  Actually, upon reflection, we figured it was a pretty good week, so why not celebrate?  It seems that we just don't get enough opportunities in our lives to go out and have fun.

Since it is Friday, and we get our county check every Friday, we had enough money for gas, so instead of taking the bus we drove down to Palm Desert to meet up with our friends Lee & Cindy.  As it turns out we couldn't remember their address, (and they were still at work) so we looked up Lee's business number in the phone book and gave him a call.   His precise directions got us to their house (yep, a house, not a trailer - high class, eh?) in no time.  After that the afternoon turned into evening, we all went out to dinner somewhere and, as we told the arresting officers, "we really don't remember much after that."

Look, we're not accustomed to having blackouts, but there must have been something in our food because it's all just a blur after dinner.  It could've been the six margaritas each that we all drank, but doubtful.  It could've been the 12 pack of Coors that we downed in the car on the way to and from the restaraunt, but highly unlikely.  It just had to be some unique seasoning in the food because that's the only rational explanation.  At least that's our story and we're sticking to it!  Tomorrow is Saturday, and traditionally we go out for a little fun, so we'll definitely have bail bondsmen on retainer...
