IT'S NOT THE CRIME - IT'S IF YOU GET CAUGHT!
This is it - HUMPDAY! - halfway through the week. There was alot of activity around the trailer this morning since our friend Drew (from L.A. Baby!) is an early riser and, since he was our guest, we figured we should get up and show some hostpitality. Actually, we never realized before how beautiful the early morning is here in the Desert. The way the sun looked and caused shadows on the sand around 11a.m. was AWSOME! We may become early risers permanently and start spending time out of bed before noon after this.
Anyway, since "L.A. Drew" hadn't spent much time out here, and he said he'd pay for gas, we figured we should tour him around the Coachella Valley. We headed East from Palm Springs along the mountains and out towards the open desert. Along the way we stopped for gas in Cathedral City, lunch in Palm Desert and snacks in Indio. Then it was South to the Salton Sea and fun, fun, fun. Let's just say that being 200 feet below sea level surrounded by a dead inland sea with a toxic algae bloom cannot be expressed in words.
But, there is a BIG plus in hanging out at the Salton Sea. No it's not the noxious smell and it's not the bubbling mud and lava. It's the cheap crystal meth! ABSOLUTELY! Look folks, why buy your crack at retail prices from some street whore in Los Angeles when you can go to the source and get it wholesale. It's literally like factory outlet stores for home cooked crank. And an added bonus is that you get to buy it from people with no teeth living in 40 year old mobile homes and Dobermans held back by chain link fences. It doesn't get any better than this and we bet Drew will have stories to tell for years! Speaking of stories, tomorrow is Friday Eve and even though Drew will be back in L.A., we'll still be out causing trouble...

If you ever visit us - just follow the signs to our trailer. We agree, but what does this have to do with food?

Kevin & Drew just ahead of the DEA at Desert Shores. Drew just before he went in to "score some rock!"

We like to eat out alot and it is so much fun. We also loved going to the Salton Sea on that dinner cruise with you. They said the fish that we were served on the boat were caught in the Salton Sea. They were yummy! We are leaving today for Cabo so we will not be talking to you for a week.
Have a great weekend !
love,
guy and cary.

Okay folks. This is LA Drew saying - DONT visit Kevin and Stacy. You might think that visiting Palm Springs for the first time, K&S would take you to the Cabazon outlets, one of the resort-style Indian casinos or just for a stroll around the boutique shops and restaurants of the beautiful streets of Palm Springs. No such luck!
I got to go from one trailer (K&S's home) to another (the meth trailers of the Salton Sea)!! My tour was boarded up buildings with "For Sale Please Call" signs and a military-style fence that surrounds the Salton Sea shore that keeps people out of the sea (or scarily keeps something in the dead sea from entering the Salton Seas town of Desert Shores)!! The meth they bought for me was good though and I have not slept since.
Also, K&S's story about getting up at 11 is actually true. I get up at 7 each morning so, true to form at 7 I am up thinking, huh, maybe they'll be up at 8. I'll let them sleep some more. At 8 I said, maybe they'll be up at 9, I'll just read one of the 50 magazines in the magazine basket by their couch. By 10:00 a.m., after reading every f*cking magazine in the barrel they call a magazine basket, I was getting pissed. I mean, come on, let's get to the Salton Sea already. By 10:30, I was contemplating dialing 9-1-1 (ask Stacy for her 9-1-1 story, it's GREAT!) because clearly only an emergency was going to get their asses up before Noon. They call me LA Drew, but I call them PS Kevin and Stacy. Not PS for "Palm Springs" but rather for "Post Sunrise." So, visitors BEWARE. Your vacation with PS K&S will be lots of sleep and a visit to the deadest sea in America . . . and lots of wonderful conversation with two of the most fabulous people I have ever met in my life. I could not imagine a better time!
