Mondays come - Mondays go.  What they generally leave behind are GREAT (but foggy) memories of a weekend that was too short, a splitting headache and a need for penicillin.  In our case, they usually also bring a meeting with our bail bondsman, a conference with our night school educated public defender and a cash payoff to some crooked judge.   We like to get all of that outta the way early in the day (especially the shot of penicillin in the butt at the free clinic) so we can focus on the truly important things in life - like MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL! 

Our friends Lee & Cindy were extradited after breakfast back to California (some bogus charges involving a high school cheerleader and a mini-van by the river) so we were left on our own here in the French Quarter.  Trust us - while it's alot easier to rack up felonies in a large group, (and a lot more fun!), we are totally capable of violating almost every law regarding common decency, public drunkeness and lewd behaviour all by ourselves!  It's taken years of practice and self-denial, but we continue achieving new lows.

Anyway, with the day rapidly turning to night (that usually happens about three or four hours after we get outta bed), we staggered into the first bar on Bourbon Street that had a TV tuned to ESPN and assumed our positions.  After having the appropriate "attitude adjustment" beverages, we began hooting and hollering like we really cared about the Monday night game and the rest is all sorta blurry.  We're sure we had a good time (always!), we weren't detained or arrested (unique!) and we fell asleep at sunrise in our own house and not on some street corner (sorta - Kevin made it to the steps outside at least!).  Tuesday will undoubtedly bring it's own set of experiences and ...
