WE KNOW A MIND IS A TERRIBLE THING TO WASTE - BUT SO IS BEER!
We checked - IT'S MONDAY! Not only that, it's Martin Luther King Day so no work for us. Well, since we don't have jobs we never work on Mondays anyway (or any other days), but since it's a holiday we want to share in the spirit of it with all of you wage earners, so we're not working either. Besides, we need to recover from Sunday and prepare for Tuesday because, strange as it seems, these days just keep showing up - almost every week too!
Anyway, not everyday can be exciting - especially a holiday when "most" places are closed, but today was something really special! We hopped on the SunLine (local bus service) and cruised the town looking for fun. So here's the deal - there was a sale at the "Dollar Store!" NOT KIDDING! So the big question we had was, "what do things cost at the Dollar Store when they're on sale?" Guess what! They still cost a God Damn dollar! We're not sure how that works, but we still got some great stuff there for a buck.
We got a new watering can shaped like an elephant for our house plants (even though most of them are hydroponic and we keep them in the closet under Gro-Lights), we got a battery powered fly swatter that lights up like Tiki Torch when you hit a bird, cat or small dog with it, and we got a denim miniskirt (it was too big for Stacy, but fit Kevin perfectly!). Folks, sale or no sale, the Dollar Store is where we're getting everything from now on. In the meantime, we saved so much money that we can afford to go out tonight for Monday Night Football, - and since the season is over we'll just have to find something else to occupy our time at the bar...

What does stuff cost on sale at the Dollar Store? Kevin's been nailing pigeons all day with the electric swatter!

We keep our hydroponic "house plants" in the closet. It cost a buck & it REALLY compliments his legs and butt!!
