YEAH BABY! - IT'S SATURDAY!  Okay, hold your emotions in check.  It's just a day - although it is a day when most of you don't have to go to work.  Now to us, since we never go to work, it's just another a day.  But old habits die hard and we used to have jobs before the whole sexual harassment/lawsuit/"you idiots are fired" thing happened, so we like Saturdays too -  but we have other reasons.

FOOD!  You got that right!  We love Saturdays because we can hop on the bus (Desert SunLine, BABY!) and ride to the Palm Desert Street Fair.  They have some of the best food on sale anywhere!  We understand that allot of people don't like to eat things wrapped in greasy paper sold by illegal aliens (sorry, should have said, "Undocumented Immigrants," guess we're just not that politically correct!) from beat up trucks, but we think it's the best way to go.  Besides, we figure if we get sick we'll just sue 'em and then take their truck!  It's a bonus situation all around.

The other thing that's fun about the Street Fair is all of the other wonderful stuff they sell there.  Where else can you still get a velvet painting of Elvis (he is alive you know!), knock-off designer sunglasses with real plastic lenses that are pre-scratched and a "Miracle Mop" (pat. pending, reg trademark).  Look, folks, we'd have bought it all, but we couldn't carry it home on the bus.  The good news is that we had some GREAT food, saw a bunch of FANTASTIC products and now we have plenty to talk about tonight when we hit the bars.  OH YEAH - IT'S SATURDAY, so we'll definitely be out drinking somewhere...
