THERE WAS TIME WHEN ALL OF THIS MATTERED - BUT WE REALLY CAN'T REMEMBER WHEN!

Sunday?  New Orleans?  Just another day in the French Quarter.  Days of the week don't really matter down here where beers are a buck a piece and so are hookers!  We originally fled here to avoid the bill collectors in Palm Springs, but now that we're here we think the economic advantages are vast!  We have to watch our budget like anyone else - public assistance just doesn't go as far as it used to.

Anyway, it's been a whirlwind of activity the past 24 hours.  Our friends from up North Louisiana (that's what we all say around here, "...up North Louisiana"), Alan and Karen arrived last night, then Mike and Sandra from God knows where Louisiana today, then finally Connie and Curtis rolled in this afternoon on the Greyhound.  We haven't had a chance to even eat between all the drinking and "lie tellin.'   The only time we could catch our breath was waiting at the bus station, but even there you can get Cheetos and a 24oz King Cobra malt liqueur!

Look folks, we like to party as much as the next person, but...ah...er....okay, we'll just keep partying.  Remember - buck a beer..., AND it's Pabst Blue Ribbon, so it ain't no cheap stuff!  There was one minor issue in a bar earlier involving Kevin, a misunderstood offer of money and a sword (not kidding) but we handled it without incident (and with a minor exchange of Sudafed & Lighter Fluid), so it's all good.  Tomorrow is Monday, but a day is only a day in the French Quarter, Connie and Curtis are still around and their AMEX card isn't limited out so...

Everything was fine with Alan, Karen & Kevin.       Then there was the "misunderstanding" and the sword incident!

Connie, Sky and Stacy were shocked!                                                   ...but fortunately Kevin had a place to sleep!

We see it looks like you're at the all you can eat buffet - and all of it looks like table grade to me!  Remember we cannot help but love you both.  Wish we were there.
