AMATUERS BUILT THE ARK BUT PROFESSIONALS BUILT THE TITANIC!

There was a time not too long ago when we'd wake up and it would be Saturday.  OH, THAT'S TODAY!  YEAH, IT'S SATURDAY!  Okay, there was another time not too long ago when we'd wake up on a Saturday and there would be nothing to do all day except to take our medications, rake the front room floor and watch "Technibond Showcase" on the Home Shopping Network.  But those carefree days are long gone now that we're in the final countdown to the 2008 Riding4Beer World Tour (beginning June 10 and sponsored by Budweiser!).

Folks, life used to be sooooo easy when we were just sponsored by Bert's Desert Towing and Salvage.  Bert didn't expect much from us (just the occasional location of some tourist's car parked illegally that he could "pop & chop" to sell with a salvage title in Mexico), and we didn't expect much from him (except half price sponsor's tickets to the Saturday night dirt track races in Blythe).  Well now with Budweiser on board as our sponsor for the 2008 Riding4Beer World Tour (beginning June 10 - SAY IT WITH US!) things have definitely changed.  We have to attend "brand strategy" meetings where really smart people talk over the top of one another about things like "market penetration" (we are in favor of penetration), "premature product withdrawal" (we are against premature withdrawal) and something they call a "group pricing strategy" (let's just say we are favor of anything that contains the word "group" - especially if it also involves a hottub).

Last night we met with our two local Budweiser representatives at the world famous (Google it!) Palm Canyon Roadhouse (as always, PALM CANYON, BABY!).  These corporate meetings seem to drag on forever!  It started around 7pm and lasted until well after midnight and the drinking never stopped (in case the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board is reading this, we know that under California law that since they sponsor us they can't legally pay for our beer so they launder the payments through a bank in Panama - cool?).  WAIT, why are we complaining about meetings?  Let's think this through - 1) Their checks don't bounce; 2) We get to drink allot of beer; and 3)......Okay, we think we need to have another meeting tonight...

After this school Kevin is gonna try to get his GED!       Mark is one of our two local Budweiser reps - NOT KIDDING!

This is Kelly, our other Budweiser rep - NOT KIDDING!              This is Bert, our previous sponsor before Budweiser!

We really like Kelly your Budweiser rep.  We see you you silly bastards are still getting in lots of trouble and we do not think that will ever change!  Have a beer filled weekend and remember, we cannot help but love you two fruits.
