WE'VE BEEN KICKED OUT OF BETTER PLACES - BUT NEVER IN CHINA!

Its SATURDAY in Shanghai and we're on the move!  Its late afternoon here and our hotel manager has caught onto us.  Apparently we drank a bit too much last night (what else is new!) and blabbed to someone in the lobby about this website.  When the folks that run this five-star crack house checked it out they were less than pleased with our ways and politely asked us to check out - IMMEDIATELY!  We obliged with smiles on our faces since they said they'd have us deported on moral grounds if we made a fuss.

It wasn't really a big deal since it was time for us to move on anyway, so we headed towards People's Square where Kevin said he knew a shortcut to the subway.  Two hours later with our suitcases in tow we finally found the subway (Line #1 North in case you're wondering) and rode to the Shanghai main train station. Here's a description of the calm and peaceful atmosphere inside the station.  Ah okay, there is no description that we can print here and still have just an "R" rating!  Let's just say that we've seen less chaos and less bloodshed in the pit bull fights that our trailer park manager runs back home.

We finally got to a ticket window and explained that we wanted to go to Xi'an.  Okay smart asses, you pronounce that word!  What's wrong with these people, can't they speak English?  Come on this is America!  Oh yeah, sorry, forgot we're in China.  Anyway, after 15 minutes or so we finally got it worked out (we think) and the agent sold us two tickets to Xi'an (we think).  We're on the overnight train (actually 20 hours - 6pm tonight to 2pm tomorrow) into the middle of China, and assuming the hotel folks don't alert the authorities, we'll be in the land of the Terra Cotta Warriors in time for a drink...

Kevin said we could just follow the signs to the subway!     On board Line #1 subway train 1 mile below Shanghai!

At the ticketing windows in the Shanghai train station.                         Afterwards Stacy sampled some "local" food!

While you have been having fun in China there has been trouble at the trailer park. Seems that you forgot to pay the monthly installment on your Rent-to-Own furniture.   Not to worry, Marsha traded services with the guy, so now you owe her!

You're in the land of chopsticks.  Now you silly bastards can eat a bowl of rice and fishheads without a fork.  We hope your having a great time, and remember, we cannot help but love you two.
