THE LONG ROAD HOME ISN'T EVEN A ROAD!

THURSDAY!  THIS IS IT!  Today is the day the 2008 Riding4Beer World Tour (sponsored by Budweiser) packs it up and heads home.  Folks, the end of this trip (and “what a long strange trip it’s been!”) is near, and after almost three months circling the entire world, we have to head back to the United States and check in with our probation officer.  Reality is NEVER fun – especially when it involves the law enforcement community!

But this isn’t the end of Riding4Beer!  NO, NO, NO!  Just like last year when we completed the 2007 Riding4Beer American Tour, we’ll continue clogging the internet with postings everyday.   It’s sorta like your mother-in-law’s nagging – it NEVER ends!  We hope that you’ll continue to log on everyday (including tomorrow!) and see what madness and mayhem we’re dealing with in our lives.  But more importantly, logging on everyday keeps our website “hit count” up so we can trick another sponsor (hopefully Budweiser – hint, hint) to foot the bill for the 2009 Riding4Beer Tour.  Trust us when we tell you that you won’t believe what we have in mind!

Folks, it’s time for us to catch the train to the airport and leave Amsterdam behind.  Assuming Continental Airlines wasn’t lying when they said they’d spring for free tickets if we mentioned their name (whores, aren’t we?), we’ll be airborne for New York then Los Angeles by the time you read this.  Don’t forget to check back tomorrow (and everyday) because a lot can happen between Holland and California, especially when it involves us…

                                                                       PICS, PICS, AND MORE PICS!

What do you expect for $25/night - a room?                    Just like the 99 cent store, only 5 Euros (about $8 bucks!)

We agree - and we'll never vekeerssituatie again!             After this trip there definitely needs to be a discussion!

Well you guys did it. In the time you took to travel the world corporations were sold , gas dropped to pre-trip lows and the Chinese are using underage gymnasts. And you made the whole trip without losing your luggage! Will anyone in Palm Springs remember you when you return( is the key to the double wide still in the fake rock?).What a wild and outrageous trip. And to think you did it all with mirrors and movie props from your living room.Like you really traveled by camel. Thanks for sharing your adventure with everyone. Can't wait for the welcome home pictures. But the real question on our minds is have you any of your Tide Stick left(we have simple minds)? As always have fun and keep smiling!
