DON'T CRY BECAUSE IT'S OVER - SMILE BECAUSE IT HAPPENED!
FRIDAY! Tears, sobs, crying, laughing, smiling - FEIGNED EMOTION! It was a long haul, but we're back in the good ol' U.S. of A. and home at last in Palm Springs. Amsterdam to New Jersey and New Jersey to Los Angeles compliments of Continental Airlines (thanks for the flight, but the food sucked!) and then home in our Hertz rental car ($19.95 + taxes/unlimited mileage - assholes wouldn't comp us so wait'll they find out what we think "unlimited mileage" means!).
Anyway, the rough statistic for the 2008 Riding4Beer World Tour (sponsored by Budweiser - you betcha!) are in and even we are impressed. Let's see; 31,000 miles, 15 countries, 63 gallons of beer (NOT KIDDING) and no felony arrests (that stuck!). It's been a looooog three months circling the world, but we wouldn't trade it for anything (well maybe some new indoor/outdoor carpeting for our mobile home and unlimited free internet porn). Look, we know that most people just take vacations to places like Disneyland, but the last time we were there you couldn't eat boiled yak like we did in Mongolia.
But traveling for months around the world is not something that's easily done alone. Whether we were riding with smugglers across Siberia, drinking Budweiser with new friends in Budapest or watching snake charmers in North Africa, there was a small army (the "Riding4Beer Force") of dedicated miscreants managing the rest of our lives. Everything from collecting our mail and answering the subpoenas to raking the gravel in front of our mobile home had to be handled and tomorrow we'll highlight (with pictures) all of the people behind our pretty faces that made the 2008 Riding4Beer World Tour possible. For once it'll be their smiling faces in the photos and not Kevin with his mouth open or Stacy with her hands held in surprise...

Admit that you wonder why Kevin is always shocked! Can you guess just what Stacy was always seeing?
