IT'S NOT OUR FAULT (IT NEVER IS - WE'RE JUST VICTIMS!)

WEDNESDAY!  HUMPDAY!  Okay, on the count of three, everybody h_mp!  Just kidding, we know that you don't wanna waste those little blue pills.  But wait!  If this Wednesday and the last post was Monday, what happened to Tuesday?  Well, you could guess that we hate that nothing day so much that we just wrote it off and never got out of bed (sofa-sleeper) but you'd be wrong!  Nope, we actually did roll out around noon when all the trucks arrived.

So here's the story.  Our INTERNET, CABLE and TELEPHONE were down all day.  The official excuse is that the heat (we live in a desert, remember?  PALM SPRINGS, BABY!) melted some wires somewhere and that caused something else to overheat and that caused something else to short circuit and, and, and!  Look, the explanation sounds all neat and tidy, but we think there were other forces at work at here.  For instance, we haven't used any of those systems for three months and maybe they just weren't used to the workout.  Or, perhaps they're just old and tired (aren't we all) and just wanted a day off and a little attention.

More likely there is another reason for their meltdown.  Maybe the systems just couldn't handle downloading internet porn while watching the Spice Channel on cable TV and dialing for phone sex all at the same time.  Hey, traveling the globe on the 2008 Riding4Beer World Tour we' weren't able to keep up on any of this and who knows what might have changed or been invented.  As someone famous (their name escapes us and we're to lazy to Google it) once said, "the key to a successful Democracy is an informed citizenry."   Folks, we're just trying to stay informed and support Democracy - you know, voting and all that stuff.  Anyway, we just took a vote between ourselves and it's unanimous - time for a beer...

Aww, it's so sad that its hot down there. Ahhh, it's a balmy 74 degrees here in sunny Emeryville. Mmm, nice. Maybe you two should consider a little road trip to Northern California?
