RANDOM ACTS OF COMMITMENT COME OUT OF PERSISTENT DESPERATION!
MERRY THURSDAY! It's Friday Eve and it's just one week before Christmas. Hey, we're on top of stuff this year. We did our Christmas shoplifting early and even mailed everything yesterday! We don't really "do" Christmas in the traditional sense since it's really a Christian holiday, but we do like the whole present thing. Besides, what do the birth of Jesus, a dead pine tree and flashing colored lights have in common? RIGHT, NOTHING!
Anyway, since it was raining yesterday here in Palm Springs (only six days a year and yesterday was one of them!) we played indoors and wrapped presents. Then we took the wrapped presents and wrapped them in shipping boxes. Then we wrapped the shipping boxes in plastic (because of the rain) and took them to the post office. Okay, bad joke of the day - "we're wrap stars!" Folks, the highlight of anyone's Christmas holiday should be going to the post office inthe rain.
Actually, that isn't sarcasm (look up "sarcasm" in a dictionary if you missed that vocabulary word in third grade before you dropped out!) , since our good friend (and future California Insurance Commissioner), Mike works at the Post Office. He was happy to see us until we unwrapped the plastic and he saw all the boxes. (sidenote: if you can un-wrap something can you un-rap music?). We had so much to ship that he went on break halfway just to rest. Anyway, we got through another Christmas shipping season, Mike and Tonya joined us at the world famous Palm Canyon Roadhouse (PALM CANYON DRIVE, BABY!) for a few Budweisers and any Christmas you can walk away from is a good one...

The stack of boxes was taller than Stacy! Mike was happy to see us until he realized there was work involved.
When the boxes just kept coming Mike got pissed! The Future California Insurance Commisioner & Tonya!

You silly bastards are back at your silly antics again! You never cease to amaze us, anything entertaining, unbelievable! Glad you loonies got your Christmas shopping done, we are waiting for our presents in the mail. Remember,we cannot help but love you two.
