WHY IS THE 3RD HAND ON A WATCH CALLED THE SECOND HAND?
SUNDAY! Sundays are great in the Fall and the Winter because of football, but when the Superbowl is over so is life - almost. There have been a few weekends since the end of the season where we had to make excuses about lying on the sofa-sleeper all day (like we were hungover, or we were watching reruns of "History's Mysteries" on the Learning Channel, etc.), but now we have a real reason to lay around - NASCAR! Oh yeah, baby! We're talkin' Daytona 500! Stacy even got out our Dale Earnhart collector plates ("...some may go up in value..." - Franklin Mint - ) to heat up the Hamburger Helper!
It's a GREAT feeling to just lay on the Bassett (real vinyl oak veneer with Scotchgard treated velvetine), watch some real honest-to-God Americans drive real honest-to-God American cars 200 MPH in real honest-to-God Florida. God bless America - no wait, we're Jewish Buddhists that don't eat meat on Fridays and believe the Book of Mormon ("Big Love" on HBO, baby!). Look, we believe in hedging our bets. You never know who really is in charge up there until it's too late. We just wanna make sure when our time comes that our God can kick your God's ass so we can get a place to sleep.
Speaking of sleep, we're not getting very much lately. We're too excited about planning for the 2009 Riding4Beer Magical Mystery Tour (sponsored by Budweiser - HEY, where's our check?). It'll start sometime near the end of May and last through the summer to mid-August. We'll be traveling all over America on our motorcycle visiting cool places (like vortexes, Area51, Roswell, etc.), meeting all kinds of cool people (like you!) and staying in all kinds of cool places (like your house!). We'll circle the country with no advance reservations visiting all of the "magical" and "mysterious" places that you tell us about. Oh yeah, and we'll also have a Budweiser or two along the way (measured in kegs)...
FYI: The plates aren't dishwasher safe - the paint washed off! We're signed up - how about you?

Startrek what a perfect way to describe you two - out there, way out there in the solar system you silly bastards ya! You both seem to always be floating on air. For as much Budweiser as you both drink it will be quite awhile before you come back down to earth, but you know what? It's all right and all in fun because you know that we cannot help but love you both - even with your mental disease. Have a lushfull week .
