MONDAY!  It's never easy is it?  Not just Monday, but getting up on any day and going to a job you hate with a boss you hate in a building you hate for pay that you hate.  That's why we're on public assistance - it's easier and much less stressful.  It gets the positive endorphins flowing.  Besides, we were fired from the last three jobs we had and it's tough in this economy to get hired when your references just laugh uncontrollably when they're called.

Anyway, we're back from Mardi Gras and finally back online posting here.  When we first got back to Palm Springs we checked ourselves into the Betty Ford Clinic to have our livers dry cleaned.  It's basically a 72 hour lockdown deal -  we've done that stretch before so it's not the time - it's the absence of internet porn that drags on us.  Trust us, the food's not bad and the people are nice, but the "group" sessions aren't what we thought they'd be.

While we were away our mail piled up pretty high.  Lots of unpaid bills and collection notices, but also some pretty interesting stuff.   We got a all kinds of catalogs from places trying to sell us sh_t.  We got plenty of ads for oil changes and coupons for discounts at IHOP - and of course our Victoria's Secret Catalogs.  But the best part of being home and out of the Betty Ford Clinic is drinking some ice cold Budweiser - they wouldn't let us have any while we were inside - narrow minded don't you think?...
