THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW IS THE 3RD DAY OF THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!
MONDAY! Okay, is a weekend "lost" if you can't really remember it? Seriously, if you lose your sunglasses, or your watch or your diaphragm (or anything else you keep in the glove box of your car), you remember things about them, right? You can close your eyes and see them. Well, that's not the case with this past weekend. We remember Friday afternoon and then pretty much the next image in clear focus is something about flying monkeys on the National Geographic Channel on Sunday night. Oh, we have plenty of pictures in the digital camera, but most are very confusing.
Look, last week we worked very hard on the upcoming Riding4Beer Magical Mystery Tour (beginning May 23 and sponsored by the ever popular Budweiser!). There's a lot of details that go into planning a 15,000 mile motorcycle trip - particularly one in which we have no set itinerary, no required motel reservations and no set route. It's sorta like the free form poetry we learned about in 7th grade. Just so you know, we weren't good at that bullsh_t poetry that didn't rhyme and we're not good at maps and routes and reservations either!
Anyway, after a long week we went out to celebrate on Friday night and....well....er......ah.....we can tell you about Sunday's flying monkeys but from the pictures in our camera we figure we had a damn good time in between. We recognize some of the birthmarks on the other people in the pictures, and we think we know who owns the doberman that appears in a few of the shots too. But it's not like we've solved the entire puzzle. We still don't know the identity of the woman with green hair, we have no idea why in three pictures Kevin is wearing a garter belt and holding a bottle of Woolite and we're absolutely clueless about the turkey baster - but it was used rather creatively. Folks, we're gonna out to a bar, have a few ice cold Budweisers and try to piece this mystery together......

Okay, pretty much no memory of this but it looks fun! We know where this is - Palm Canyon Drive, Baby!

We'll never go back here if we can remember where this is! Stacy apparently joined the League of Women Voters!

Will you silly bastards bring all those lovely ladies with you when you come visit? They can stay at our house. You lucky guys living out there in Palm Springs! Remember this always, we cannot help but love you two.

3 Days until my Big Move. I just found out this afternoon that I leave Japan Saturday morning for North Carolina. See you in a few months on the Riding4Beer tour.
